Chapter 12 : ENCRYPTION

KEYWORD : DECRYPTFILE

Definition
Decrypts a password-encrypted file. By convention, the file to be decrypted has a ".[enc]" extension The file must have been encrypted by MS4script + password

Syntax

  		 	
 DecryptFile( INPUTFILE : "your encrypted input file  " or string , 
 password : literal "alphanum" or string,OUTPUTFILE : "your output file" or string);

Example

  		   
SetCurrentDir("#DRIVERSYS+\MandragorePlanete\MS4BI\02-DEMO-DESKTOP-BI-EXCELandSTANDARD\91-SECURITY\ExamplesEncrypt");

 DecryptFile( INPUTFILE : "98-FileToEncryptEncrypt.[enc]" ,
      PASSWORD : "psw0999", OUTPUTFILE : "98-FileToEncryptExampleDECRYPT.ms4" );

Display" OK.....DECRYPT : 98-FileToEncryptExampleDECRYPT.ms4";

Remarks
- to set the directory for the file to be decrypted: setcurrentdir
- password: max 1024 alphanumeric characters
- decryption: must have been encrypted using MS4script
- file to be decrypted: by convention the encrypted file has a ".[enc]" extension
